A few months ago, we were approached by our friends at Half Full Brewing Co. in Stamford, CT to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind craft beer, brewed exclusively for [chow] Food and Beverage Co!
As you can imagine, that was a big 'HELL YES!' for us!
The brewers at Half Full have been working hard since to create the perfect beer for us to call our very own; A New England style Session IPA that's easy drinkin' for any day of the week!
Introducing: [chow] Decompression Session IPA
On Thursday, April 2nd, we will be debuting our exclusive brew during [happy hour]! Friends from Half Full will be joining us for this momentous occasion & we hear they're bringing some fun giveaways for you guys!
Come hang out & grab a taste for yourself! We are so excited to show off our newest addition to you all!
Let's Support the Lee Family, Clinton!
When: Ongoing -
Alice Lee has been a part of the Clinton community for years. She's been a staple at every sports game, fundraiser & local event on the shoreline. She was a very important part of our community, as shown by the many visitors and well wishes she received during her final days here with us.
Alice will forever be known as a warrior: strong, fearless and willing to fight and conquer anything thrown her way. She faced each day with the goal that she could be happy, healthy and provide for her five boys that she so lovingly raised on her own for a good part of their lives after the passing of their father.
One of the many amazing qualities Alice had was her willingness to help others. She gave, even when she had nothing to give, whether it be a helping hand, a smile, or advice.
We at [chow] are asking for Clinton's support in helping us alleviate some of the burden Alice's boys will endure in the days, weeks, months to come while they navigate this new life without their mom. As many of us have experienced, losing a loved one is incredibly difficult, and the most difficult times are in the weeks & months & even years after a loved one passes, when everyone around you seems to go back to living their lives as normal. This is the time we want to be there for the Lee's the most - while her boys figure out this new life on their own, all while managing their grief.
[chow] is now a hub for anyone and everyone that wants to help this local family. Help us create a stockpile of everyday household items for Alice's boys - whether it be toilet paper or dish soap, laundry detergent or a gift card for gas to get around town - Everything & anything is so appreciated!
We've come up with a list of ideas for items that will come in handy for the boys, but any other ideas you guys come up with, please share! Our ideas are listed below -
Drop off anytime during normal business hours (or message us if you want to arrange a drop off time outside of normal business hours) & we will take care of the rest!
